As 2019 draws to a close, we're extremely excited to welcome you home for one last dance as the clock strikes twelve and a new dawn is upon us. 

Armed with a battalion of groovers, shakers and expert party starters including veteran bass ambassador DJ Siesta, Blanca, Resinate, and MC Rvee on mic duty, there's no stopping us as  we take you on a journey of the best of UK dance music of the year!

SIESTA

1999年的时候，她是香港唯一一个推动Drum’n’Bass派对的人。在99-02年之间举办了超过35场大大小小的鼓打贝斯活动。2002年底她再以Phreaktion的名义重新出发，并开始成为其驻场DJ,  Siesta凭其对鼓打贝斯音乐的熟知及场地气氛酝酿的把握，很快地成为香港鼓打贝司乐界家喻户晓的DJ。

2005年底Siesta将她的热情带入上海，在短短1年后便使得鼓打贝斯音乐由地下冒出，成为上海club scene里不可或缺的一种音乐形式，而Phreaktion现在更成为上海主要的派对主办单位之一。Sweatshop血汗工厂这个派对厂牌也在中国大家心中，跟“dnb”画上了等号。人们在每个月都可以在主要的派对场所中看到Siesta的踪影，将派对舞池的气氛炒得热翻天。纯熟和迅速的打碟技巧使得她毫无疑问的成为上海最重要DJ之一。2008年更成为代表第一位代表中国地区被最高荣誉的红牛音乐学院录取的女性学员。

2010年Siesta再次创办了一个新的派对品牌Wonky Kong，专门引进英式重低音电音，从Jack Beats, DJ Zinc到MJ Cole, Caspa, Pinch, DJ Die，几乎所有英国当今神级人物都被请到了上海。Siesta现今也是以放UK Funky, Club, Afrobeats居多！

Dubbed the “Queen of Drum’n’Bass” in China; Siesta’s passion for collecting records dated back in 1999, when she started out as the only promoter putting on a series of world-class drum’n’bass parties in HK. 

The rise of drum'n'bass in Shanghai is evident, and her collective"PHREAKTION" plays a crucial part of making it happen. “PHREAKTION” was set up in the summer of 1999 in Hong Kong and later moved to Shanghai in 2005, and sinced then the started the seminal drum'n'bass party brand "Sweatshop", playing host to every one from Andy C, Roni Size, to Goldie, Fabio, Marky, Pendulum, Scratch Perverts, LTJ Bukem, London Elektricity, just to name a few.

2008 saw Siesta reach yet another pinnacle moment in her DJ career when she was invited to attend the Red Bull Music Academy in Barcelona, making her the first person to represent China. In 2009 she started a new offshoot called WONKY KONG, aiming to promote the emerging sounds of UK dance music.

Blanca

曾在英国拥有悠久音乐历史的曼城学习，通过偶然的机会开始全面接触英国Bass音乐的Blanca，2016年起沉溺于探索各类英式低音不可自拔，UK bass house 和 Bassline 是她的最爱。打自己喜欢的音乐给周围的朋友听是鼓励她学习DJing这门技术的初心。

Wax9

从早些年痴迷于俱乐部音乐的青年，到现在自己成为一个DJ。如何放一些与众不同的东西是他每天思考的问题，Wax9总是尝试将各类曲风融合在一起，包括DnB,Dubstep,Dub,Reggae,Jungle。从Dada  C’s到All Club,Elevator,Loopy,Nox。
每个俱乐部都能看到他的身影。他的remix也被收入做月度节目发布在地下电台CLOAK上。

After spending his early years as a clubber, Wax9 was inspired to become a dj and quickly developed his skills, he is always looking for new ideas and techniques to further improve his performances. He plays an array of uk dance music in his sets (dnb,dubstep,dub,reggae,jungle). Wax9 regularly plays at underground venues in Shanghai like Dada, C’s Bar, All club, Elevator, and has toured other cities like Chengdu(Nox) and Hangzhou(Loopy) 
He also performs monthly on Cloak Radio.

Resinate

Resinate是在第一次参加rave时开始迷恋地下音乐的。在drum & bass轰动90 年代中后期他开始热爱drum & bass/jungle，并自那时起积累了大量的不同种类的drum & bass音乐。Resinate曾和顶级音乐人在英国音乐节巡演，以及和Serial Killaz在音乐节同台演出。搬到上海后，他很快成为了上海成立时间最久的drum & bass派对品牌Sweatshop的常驻DJ，后来他开始自己的品牌Riddim’n’Vibe. 同时他也在上海以及其他城市所有最好的地下音乐地点演出,他支持并同台演出的著名音乐人有Goldie, Bryan Gee, DJ Zinc, DJ SS, Randall, dBridge, Doc Scott, Dom & Roland, DJ Die, Om Unit, TC, Hazard, The Prototypes, Cyantific, Logan D, Taxman, Jubei & SP: MC, Fre4knc, Posij, Blood Dunza, Siesta, Arkaik, MC R Vee 和 MC Jado.

Resinate was drawn to the underground music scene in the UK at an early age after attending his first rave. He fell in love with drum & bass/jungle music during the drum & bass explosion in the mid-to-late 1990's and since then has built a mass library of high-resolution tracks from across the spectrum. 

Resinate has toured festivals in the UK, culminating with a headline set following the Serial Killaz. After moving to Shanghai  he soon became a resident for the longest running drum & bass party Sweatshop and more recently set up his own promotion Riddim'n'Vibe.

 Resinate has played at all the best underground music spots in Shanghai and many other cities around China, he has supported and shared the booth with the likes of Goldie, Bryan Gee, DJ Zinc, DJ SS, Randall, dBridge, Doc Scott, Dom & Roland, DJ Die, Om Unit, TC, Hazard, The Prototypes, Cyantific, Logan D, Taxman, Jubei & SP: MC, Fre4knc, Posij, Blood Dunza, Siesta, Arkaik, MC R Vee and MC Jado.
